HR Administrator - Position will work on-site at the Corporate Offices in Pelham, AL

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about HR operations? We're looking for an HR Administrator to join our team! This key role will manage payroll processing, HR reporting, and essential administrative functions to support our workforce and keep our HR operations running smoothly. As the HR Administrator, you'll be the go-to expert for payroll, benefits, and HR systems, and play a vital role in onboarding, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records.

What You Do

* Performs activities necessary to process payroll on a weekly, biweekly, and/or semi-monthly basis, including maintaining related records, processing deductions, preparing off cycles as needed, documenting, and updating procedures, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, gathering payroll data and processing garnishments and levies.

* Serves as an SME for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, post-offer, onboarding, etc.

* Provides new employees and supervisors with appropriate training as it related to payroll, benefits, and HRIS.

* Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HRIS reporting.

* Maintains payroll documentation dictated by governing agencies.

* Maintains accurate employee files in ADP and shared folder; uploads all documentation to appropriate files daily to ensure confidentiality within the human resources department.

* Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

* Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

* Responds promptly to employee inquiries.

* Files and/or responds to Unemployment Compensation filings.

* Conducts quarter-end and year-end auditing for accuracy of Quarterly and Annual Tax Reporting.

* Assists in open enrollment and benefits enrollment processes.

* Manages the post-offer process to include completing reference checks, scheduling drug testing and background checks, and organizing job selection files.

* Updates various communication hubs with employee and company-related content.

* Assists with company events.

What You Bring

* Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.; PHR certification preferred.

* Three or more years related of human resources experience preferred.

* Experience in benefits and/or payroll preferred.

* Knowledge of Human Resources processes and practices.

* Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; HRIS system experience required; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

* Positive attitude and professional appearance and demeanor.

* Ability and commitment to handle data with confidentiality.

* Excellent time and project management skills are required

* Organizational skills required.
