An innovative industrial manufacturing firm based in Lower Hartford County is seeking a people-oriented Junior HR Business Partner to support day-to-day HR operations. This role will ensure efficient payroll processing, employee engagement programs and maintaining safety and wellness initiatives. - Provide support for HR functions including maintaining employee records and assisting with employee relations issues
- Process weekly payroll for approx. 80 fulltime employees and manage hours for temporary workers
- Coordinate onboarding programs, creating a positive and welcoming new employee experience.
- Manage employee learning and development programs to support employee growth and organizational compliance.
- Partner with the Safety Action Group to maintain a safe work environment and ensure up to day OSHA and safety training programs
- Lead wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs, fostering a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment and engaging with production floor employees.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- 1-2 years of HR experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is plus
