Job Description

• Gathers, analyzes and monitors confidential data regarding employees for the purpose of advising the Administrator or preparing reports

• Oversees employee timekeeping and coordinates all payroll activities for Pillar of Cedar Valley. Submit accurate payroll information to financial consultants for processing

• Assist with explaining, interpreting, coordinating as necessary, existing personnel policies for the efficient operation of the facility to supervisors, employees and potential employees.

• Organizes and conducts new hire orientation

• Assists in the scheduling and coordination of training and workshops, including the tracking of required training of staff through CE Solutions and other in-services to meet state, federal and professional requirements.

• Provides guidance and assistant to the Administrator and department heads in regards to administration of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Tracks FMLA

• Organizes and maintains department personnel file, process and maintain all new hire paperwork. Completes all necessary and regulatory pre-employment screenings including background checks, references, DHS forms and approval. Maintains attendance records.

• Process and coordinates Worker's Compensation Claims and OSHA log.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent or HR Management or 5 years related experience

• Experience working in long term facility is preferred
