Department:Human ResourcesShift:Primarily Days (United States of America)Employee Type:RegularPer Diem Type (if applicable):Minimum Pay Range:$34.51 - $43.14Job Description:POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Business Partner provides strategic planning, advice and consulting, and analytical support in areas of employment, retention, talent management, succession planning, employee satisfaction, Human Resources and Recruitment policies, wage and salary trends and regulations, as well as employee relations' practices, innovations, and legal parameters. POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management or equivalent and/or certification (PHR, SPHR) and previous healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in employee relations, recruitment and retention strategies and wage and hour required.
  • Proven experience with effective interpersonal communication and maintaining collaborative customer-orientated relationships with leadership and staff required.
  • Current working knowledge of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, California Labor Code, CFRA, California and Federal Wage and Hour Laws, Workers' Compensation Law, FLSA, FEHA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO, and other applicable laws required.
Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills with experience in group presentation or facilitation
  • The ability to complete a multitude of tasks and assignments quickly and efficiently; ability to think creatively; excellent organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to analyze and translate technical data into clear and concise reports.
  • Utilizes strategic problem-solving skills to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability & familiarity with Microsoft Suite to utilize Excel and Word to analyze and present data to leadership.
