The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with leadership in designated business units. The partner helps lead the change management projects and manages the partner and shares the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery. The business partner helps identify and prepares development plans for key team members and high potential team members. The business partner is a member of the leadership team of the internal client. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and team members that delivers the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.The Nuts and Bolts
Acts as a point of contact for business unit leaders.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Proactively supports the delivery of HR processes and programs.Manages complex and difficult HR projects cross-functionally.Works closely with business leaders to enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.Serves as a member of the HR Leadership Team.Develops and grows HR team members.Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.Other duties as assigned.Required Credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience. Previous experience in Human Resources with progressive experience 6-8 years.Team Player.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and/or PHR-Ca credential or ability to obtain.You Must Be Able to Travel up to 35%Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Also, this job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear.
