Job Description :

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic business partner, supporting Marvin Coastline-SIW for our West Palm Beach and Delray Beach, Florida, manufacturing operations and retail locations. As a member of the local HR team, the HRBP will partner with leaders across all departments and be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support through all levels of employees. As part of our HR team, the HRBP is a true generalist with responsibilities that can touch every aspect of HR from recruiting and onboarding through benefits, total rewards, and exit strategies.

  • Provide neutral, consultative support to management for the consistent and appropriate application of programs and practices
  • Ensure the HR functions priorities and efforts are customer centric and aligned to the execution of the business strategy at the local and Enterprise levels
  • Exercise judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining positive, value-added working relationships with employees and members of management
  • Partner effectively and transparently with our HR local and Enterprise colleagues, living the Marvin values in all that we do
  • Coach and counsel managers and employees on maintaining positive employee relations
  • Proactively conduct investigations in response to concerns and recommend/implement solutions based on investigation results in partnership with appropriate HR colleagues and business leaders
  • Diagnose patterns of departmental/site-wide issues and provide individual and/or group training and learning sessions to prevent negative behaviors/performance
  • Act as local point person and interface for all Center of Expertise programs and initiatives under the umbrella of HR Operations, such as payroll, HRIS, employee ID badges, all benefits, leave administration, FMLA, ADAAA, etc.
  • Affect cultural change to evolve to a culture of collaboration, high-performance and continuous improvement, including lean six sigma and change management methodologies
  • Work closely with all in the Business Unit to improve work relationships, build communications, and increase productivity and retention
  • Proactively lead employee engagement initiatives, acting as point person for employee opinion surveys, feedback, and action plans
  • Facilitate site wide all employee events as well as community outreach project teams
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Org. Development, or business-related field; Advanced Degree preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, written and oral, is required
  • 5+ years of experience in HR or comparable role required
  • 4+ years of investigations, including compliance violation allegations, and interfacing with corporate legal counsel desired
  • Experience working with varying levels of employees and management for populations of at least 300 employees
  • Proven record of working with labor intense environments and rapidly changing business demands
  • Examples of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives
  • Demonstrated examples of facilitating presentations, meetings, and events with minimal supervision
  • Experience in tracking HR performance through metrics and dashboards
  • HRIS hands-on local lead; UKG Pro and ADP a plus
  • Action and results oriented with solid project management skills
  • Solid abilities in dealing with ambiguity, problem-solving, and decision making
  • Cultural savvy: able to discern key aspects of Marvin culture and raise the bar for behaviors and performance
  • Innovative mindset: able to identify and execute creative solutions
  • Strong influencing skills: can take the lead in discussions, seed ideas, and cultivate and pursue opportunities that are in the best interests of the company
  • Approaches issues with self-confidence; maintains neutrality while using empathic listening skills
  • Can take on tough positions and decisions even in the face of strong opposing opinions
