Then, use our Get Started section to take your first step to being a part of First United.The PositionJob TitleHR Business Relations Operations SupervisorJob DescriptionSUMMARYThis position is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR Business Relations Specialist team and building operational enhancements within the group. Also serves as an active team member in supporting the daily workload when needed.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Provides daily support and guidance to the Business Relations Specialist team, ensuring sound understanding and implementation of policies and procedures with consistency and timely follow-through.* Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures. Monitors workflow through the team to meet service expectations.* Builds out metrics related to key performance indicators and performs ongoing monitoring to ensure they are within established SLAs.* Identifies areas for improvement and implements scalable solutions. Automates processes where possible, creating operational efficiencies.* Guides the team with handling complex employee inquiries and collaborates with the HR Business Relations Partners as needed.* Oversees the maintenance of employee confidential information.* Leads the creation and distribution of documentation addressing common employee questions or issues.* Supports and leads projects within the Business Relations team.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Stays abreast of regulations and ensures reports and files are in compliance.* Develops, implements, and trains staff on personnel procedures.* Supports staff with backlogged work, as needed.* Communicates enhancement ideas for consideration.* Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures* Dresses professionally.* Completes all required compliance exams on an annual basis.* Performs other duties as assigned.EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE* Bachelor's degree preferred.* Prior HR operations or general operations experience preferred.* Prior Supervisory experience is required.* Must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, reasoning ability, strong management, and sound decision-making abilities.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS* Leadership skills with the ability to supervise a small team.* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines and handles sensitive information with discretion.* High technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.* Strong attention to detail.* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills by all means of communication including written, verbal, and nonverbal with the ability to work well with a wide range of people.* Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure.* Dependable and adheres to timelines and schedules.* Excellent computer skills experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.* Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.* Handles situations professionally and welcomes additional responsibilities.* Strong organizational and time management skills, and follow-through on deliverables.NOTEThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
