Our skilled nursing home is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Clerk to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with FMLA and workers' compensation regulations.
- Support performance management initiatives by coordinating employee evaluations and feedback processes.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department by preparing reports, maintaining files, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members on talent management strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of performance management practices and employee evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and workers' compensation procedures is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-related matters.
