We are partnering with a great client in the Akron area that is looking for their next HR Coordinator role. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to gain more experience and have an opportunity to launch their career.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and facilitate the recruitment process to attract top talent, including scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, and providing candidate feedback.
- Manage and update the payroll system, ensuring timely processing and compliance with time & attendance regulations.
- Generate reports for internal use and cross-departmental support; maintain and organize personnel files and other HR documentation.
- Assist with open enrollment and employee benefits onboarding, providing guidance on benefit plans and coordinating with brokers/providers as needed.
- Support new hire onboarding and serve as a key point of contact for current employees.
- Collaborate with the HR manager on various initiatives, including safety, compliance, and operational improvements across all branch locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 1+ year of human resources experience specifically with hiring, payroll and benefits support
- Willingness to learn
