HR Director - Hybrid in Garden City, NY! - Phaxis : Job Details

A rapidly growing client of mine is looking to bring on an HR Director to support their expanding company.

3-4 days on site in Garden City - $135,000-$145,000

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree a plus.
• 5+ of human resource experience.
• Substantial recruiting experience.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Paycor or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, lead and administer the policies and activities of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
• Administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management, including annual performance reviews and succession planning; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Ownership of employee new hire process; pre-Onboarding and Onboarding through start date.
