LHH is currently seeking an HR Generalist for a growing company. This is a wonderful contract opportunity in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:
Provide support to department managers and internal recruiters to facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positionsConduct background checks and employee eligibility verificationsGenerate official internal documents such as offer letters, salary memos, etc.Create onboarding plans for new hiresEducate newly hired employees of HR policies, internal procedures, and regulationsImplement new hire orientationHandle employee related inquiriesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsManage offboarding activities including exit interviews and calculating separation payoutsMaintain digital employee filesOrganize employee performance reviewsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field requiredAt least 2-3 years of HR generalist experience requiredPHR or SPHR certification preferredProficiency with HRIS and talent management systems preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityExcellent organization skills and attention to detailEmployment Type: Contract, Full Time
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
