HR Generalist - Tenneco : Job Details

Responsible for providing overall generalist support for the Human Resources function in a manner which achieves plant and departmental goals and objectives and satisfying the needs of the employees. Major responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, training, and overall compliance with applicable Federal and State Statues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides HR support with talent acquisition, hourly staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development, payroll, records management, safety and safety and employee relations. Plans, prepares documents and conducts HR related functions from onboarding through the full life cycle of employment. Understands all HR policies, procedures, and guidelines; communicates and reinforces organization values. Enhances department and site reputation by initiating and supporting activities that drive engagement through the facility.
