- Support the recruitment and hiring process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hires.
- Facilitate the onboarding process by educating new employees on company policies, benefits, and culture.
- Assist in conducting performance reviews and collaborate with managers to create and implement performance improvement plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR-related matters, such as leaves of absence, employee relations, and disciplinary issues.
- Organize and coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company standards.
- Stay informed about current HR trends, laws, and best practices.
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a HR Generalist...
- 1 to 2 years of experience in HR generalist or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
