Position OverviewThe HR Generalist will partner with business leaders to maintain optimal staffing levels, foster an inclusive culture, drive engagement initiatives, and implement HR programs. This role ensures compliance with legal and organizational policies, actively supports associate relations, and contributes to training, retention, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Associate Relations
Partner with leaders to manage recruitment processes and promptly fill vacancies.
Facilitate business and team meetings to maintain visibility and support.
Conduct new associate orientations to promote a positive culture.
Address employment-related inquiries and resolve sensitive matters.
Conduct thorough, objective investigations and advise leadership on resolution strategies.
Oversee performance review programs to ensure equity and compliance.
Support disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
Drive recognition programs, engagement surveys, and associate communications.
Ensure wage program compliance and investigate safety incidents.
Administer exit interviews to identify reasons behind separations.
Provide performance management guidance and training to leadership.
Retention and Training
Manage compliance with mandatory and optional training programs.
Collaborate with leadership to improve morale, productivity, and retention.
Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure their effectiveness.
Operational Support
Conduct weekly meetings with business leaders.
Analyze HR metrics and recommend solutions and policy adjustments.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Guide workforce planning, restructuring, and succession planning.
Oversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance, and safety.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1 year of HR experience preferred.
SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Knowledge of HR disciplines, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in time management and meeting deadlines.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
On-site role at the Glendale, WI Distribution Center.
Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Special vision requirements: close vision.
Quiet office environment with standard office equipment usage.
