As an
HR Manager, you will provide support for a manufacturing organization of approximately 300 employees. You will implement policies, procedures, and programs to support the success of the business.
Responsibilities:- Work with IT and end-users to implement a new Human Capital Management system; train end-users on the HCM and provide ongoing support; identify areas of improvement and future expansion of the HCM.
- Help with the annual employee engagement survey process; provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, union collective bargaining agreement, and best practices; work with supervisors and union to revolve employee/labor relations issues; manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution; attend monthly union-management meetings.
- Support hiring managers to ensure their staffing needs are met; includes recruiting and interviewing to ensure top talent is selected; onboard new hires.
- Support managers with annual goal setting and performance management processes; facilitate process of identifying employees for career growth.
- Identify development needs for employees and managers; develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills; collaborate with managers to create individual development plans for employees; evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements related to compensation and benefits; provide guidance to employees on compensation and benefits-related inquiries.
- Communicate and work with people at all levels in an organization to help solve problems and make decisions.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field. •HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI).
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources with In-depth knowledge of best practices, compliance, employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with employee relations, labor relations, union negotiations in a manufacturing environment or similar.
- Experience with Human Capital Management systems including implementation of upgrades or new systems.
