Human Resources experience with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management is preferred. Previous work experience in a higher education environment is a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in payroll processing software and HRIS platforms experience with Paycom is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical and research skills are required, including utilizing technology to perform data analysis and research.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PCs in a Windows-based environment and business software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, setting priorities and schedules, and identifying and adhering to departmental objectives.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty, students and leadership in a high-volume public setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly guide and train staff and supervisors.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and be productive in a fast-paced environment.
