Role and ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing:- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance for a large and diverse manufacturing workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the HR and finance teams to gather and verify payroll data.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll matters.
- Utilize ADP and Workday systems to process payroll efficiently.
Benefits Administration:- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurances, 401(k), and disability.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure seamless administration and address employee concerns.
Compliance: - Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other relevant statutes.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify data and compliance.
Reporting and Analytics:- Work closely with HR and other relevant departments to integrate and streamline payroll and benefits processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to optimize benefits offerings.
Reporting:- Generate and analyze payroll and benefits reports to provide insights to management.
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Other Payroll and Benefits-related tasks as assigned.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 7+ years overseeing/managing Payroll and Benefits -- manufacturing experience is a very strong plus.
- 10+ years minimum experience with payroll
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
- 3+ years experience in HRIS (Workday, ADP) and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
