Job Description :

EastRise Credit Union is adding an HR Program Manager to our growing team! The HR Program Manager ensures that human resource programs support the long-term goals of the credit union. This position performs professional work of considerable difficulty overseeing a range of administrative functions related to human resource development, team development, skill development and partnership with peers and vendors. This position also conducts regular HR training. It is a flexible position available to help and partner with all HR disciplines. Specific duties include:

  • Plans, directs and administers human resource programs.
  • Writes and revises job specifications and documents.
  • Develops HR training programs, selects vendors and teaches courses.
  • Researches, analyzes data and prepares monthly reports on HR trends, and proposes new HR project and program suggestions.
  • Reports on current program goals and progress.
  • Reviews and updates program policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Partners with department heads, managers and staff on team member needs, program participation, and recommending available talent development programs.
  • Performs need assessment discussions.
  • Partners with all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, benefits planning/support, technology support and talent development.
  • Use MS office skills and internet sourcing skills for developing presentations and program offerings.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and ten years of business experience, including human resource or related experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management, dynamics of employee development and professional growth, and training program design and presentation.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to plan, organize and present training activities to diverse employee groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
