Job Responsibilities
- Conduct recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel
- Provide excellent customer service by answering employee and manager questions or concerns
- Organize and assist in planning of employee events and activities
- Assist in the delivery of employment information specific to benefits, employment practices, etc. requiring a broad knowledge of all employment policies/practices and their application
- Assist new employees with completing their new hire benefits enrollment
- Maintain accurate data and related information in personnel files (primarily electronic), creating and managing related reports, data analytics, etc. and presenting the information as requested
- Advise the HR manager on information, trends, recommendations, etc. that can help the department and company improve processes and opportunities as derived and observed from observations and functions
- Complete assigned special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, and working toward timely completion of projects
- Perform filing, documentation, and other administrative functions
- Periodic domestic travel required depending upon customer and company business needs
- In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development, related field or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function including, but not limited to, DOL/OFCCP/EEOC regulations, FLSA, ADA, HIPAA, GINA, FMLA, and WA Paid Sick Leave

- Ensures that the correct steps are taken to administer FMLA/ADA/WA Paid leave, including tracking time utilized and paperwork.
