Job Summary:

  • The HR Representative will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Additionally, this team member will serve as an Office Manager responsible for coordination of supplies and activities for the office and supporting engineering and operations salaried staff with coordination and administrative needs.
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively support our employees and management team.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide guidance on benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Support performance management processes by facilitating performance reviews, providing training on performance appraisal systems, and addressing any performance-related issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations maters, addressing grievances and facilitating conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner.
  • Coordinate the support details and logistics of the intern/co-op program for technical staff.
  • Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics, such as compliance, employee engagement, and career development.
  • Support health and safety initiatives by collaborating with management and local/remote Health and Safety leaders to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
  • Suggest, Develop, Plan, and Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities
  • Assure that all supplies and services for the office are kept up to date and in good order.
  • Support engineering and operations staff with coordination and administrative activities to improve their efficiency on everyday deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.
