USI/Asteelflash is actively looking for a highly organized, talented, and dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team here in Milpitas, CA. Your primary role will be to support the HR Department in all aspects, including recruitment, staff orientation, employee relations, and maintaining HR records.The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for administration and compliance of HR items, including benefits, employee data integrity, learning and development training, and recordkeeping to include attendance tracking and the HRIS database. Candidates for this position will be immersed in the inner workings of our business, working closely with all employees.Candidates must also be able to communicate effectively with employees, management and customers and be able to work well within a team environment and always demonstrate personal integrity. The successful candidate will be able to easily work in a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks frequently. The goal is to ensure that HR operations will be carried out smoothly and effectively to support our company's overall mission and goals.RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruiting and staffing, job postings, coordinating interviewsProcessing and managing paperwork related to hiring, termination, and changes in employee roles or statusesEmployment and compliance with regulatory concernsHelping in the development and implementation of human resources policies and proceduresManagement and administration of the company compensation and benefit programsEmployee relationsCoordinating new hire orientation and training sessions for employeesMaintenance and retention of employee recordsEstablishment and maintenance of the company benefit systemAssisting with audits, compliance reviews, and other mandatory reportsAssist supervisors in performance management proceduresCoordinate and assist with employee engagement activities and events to foster a positive work environmentSupport other functions as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalentMinimum of 5-6 years of experience working as a Human Resources RepresentativeKEY COMPETENCIES: Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to keep sensitive information confidentialExtremely detail oriented with a strong ability to manage a high priority project and confidential informationPassionate about company culture and the employee experienceFlexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learnAbility to multi-task and prioritizeFamiliar with HRIS Systems (ADP)This position will require you to be onsite 100% of the time.
