Job Description :
One of the area's largest employers is looking for a new team member for our Human Resources department. You will manage health and wellness benefits, leaves of absence, and provide internal customer service to LifeStream's workforce. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, PFML, and other company-specific leave policies.
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, and HR to ensure accurate and timely processing of leave requests.
  • Maintain and update employee leave records in the HRIS system.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing support to employees regarding their benefits options and enrollment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to leave and benefits administration.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new leave and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on leave and benefits-related matters.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.
  • Ensure the accuracy of benefit deductions for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on leave and benefits utilization and trends.
  • Collaborate and support other members of the HR team with projects as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in leave and benefits administration or a related HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave and benefits regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
