Job Type Full-timeDescriptionTeller County's Human Resources department is seeking an experienced full-cycle Recruiter to drive our hiring initiatives and help build exceptional teams. You'll partner with hiring managers across departments to understand their needs, source top talent, and create an outstanding candidate experience. What You'll Do :(1) Collaborate with HR Director, Department Heads, Elected Officials and hiring managers to define and understand role requirements and staffing needs to ensure a smooth interview and selection process; create and optimize job descriptions.(2) Manage full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance to include but not limited to: develop creative sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines; prepare interview guides/questions; screen resumes, participate in interviews, and facilitate post-interview debriefing with interview panel; prepare, send and track offer letters; manage communications with hiring managers and candidates; conduct/track pre-employment screenings; maintain applicant tracking system and recruitment metrics.(3) Manage the onboarding process to include continual communication with candidate to ensure a smooth transition into the organization, first day onboarding/new hire paperwork, schedule and conduct new hire orientation, conduct follow up surveys.(4) Assist with training and career development plans.(5) Stay up to date and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring/onboarding process.This position is 100% on site in the Centennial administration building located in scenic Cripple Creek, CO. RequirementsWhat You'll Bring :
  • Associates degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Two years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in public sector
  • Excellence in candidate assessment and relationship building
  • Experience with modern recruiting tools and ATS platforms
  • Outstanding communication, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or related certification preferred
