DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY:The Human Resources (HR) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding the daily operations of the HR function, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and services. This role requires a hands-on leader who can support employee relations, recruitment, compliance, performance management, and development initiatives within the Distribution organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Recruitment and Staffing:Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate selection, and onboarding of new hires. Ensure staffing needs are met while aligning with company policies and legal requirements.•Employee Relations:Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances promptly and professionally. Act as a liaison between employees and management to maintain a positive work environment.•Compliance and Policy Implementation:Ensure the company adheres to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Update and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain legal compliance and best practices.•Performance Management:Oversee hourly employee performance reviews and provide feedback. Work with leaders to set goals and ensure metrics are met.•Training and Development:Coordinate training programs to enhance employees' skills and support career development. Assist in leadership development initiatives and promote ongoing learning opportunities.•Payroll and Benefits Administration:Ensure accuracy and compliance of submitting employee payroll. Assist with benefits administration, including health, retirement, and other benefits.•HR Metrics and Reporting:Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring timelines, and employee satisfaction surveys. Prepare and present regular reports to senior Leadership regarding HR performance and trends.•Health & Safety:Ensure workplace safety standards are maintained, assisting with health and safety initiatives and compliance with OSHA regulations.•General HR Support: Provide general HR support for employees and management, including handling disciplinary actions, exit interviews, and separation processes.REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE•Education:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required). HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.•Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 1year in the HR leadership role.Experience with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR software is highly preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES •Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.•Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.•Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, ATS).• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.•Leadership and mentoring abilities.• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.WORKING CONDITIONSGeneral office, warehouse and distribution center environment.
