This role will report through the Global Talent organization and will be remote.In this capacity, the position will:Support various DE&I, Talent and Learning programming globallySupport culture initiatives and analyze engagement trendsSupport preparations and communications for various talent initiativesManage individually assigned projects, research best practices, and share recommendationsSupport team collaboration to address needsCollaborate with the Global DE&I team to coordinate and communicate DE&I leadership development offerings and/or conferences.Support the Global DE&I team in overseeing Otis global Employee Resource Group program (including tasks related to marketing, communications, heritage month planning, and annual summit preparation).Support preparation and communication for Global Days of AwarenessUpdate DE&I core communications assets (e.g. fact sheet, resources & tools on SharePoint and ServiceNow, DE&I website on otis.com)Support follow-up actions from DE&I external survey responses with key stakeholder groupsPartner with L&D to evaluate and recommend DE&I training that evolves leaders core capabilitiesMaintenance of talent management, learning and DE&I process documentation & resources (SharePoint)Support translation process managementSupport learning design and talent data analysisThis is a full-time, paid summer internship, typically starting in May/June and ranging from 10-12 weeks. Throughout your internship, we provide continuous opportunities for training and development while giving feedback on your performance to ensure you develop and grow during your internship.EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or similar field of studyEXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Software applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc. and an interest in technologyAn organized team player who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and think strategicallyAbility to communicate a clear understanding of subject matter and work in cross-functional teamsRespect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking, and offer informed suggestions to improve processesOtis is the world's largest elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service business.
