Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for someone with the right skill set to oversee HRIS and payroll functions, support strategic initiatives, and enhance process efficiencies across their operations. This role offers competitive pay, a dynamic work environment, and the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional in-office days. Requirements for the HRIS/Payroll Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS and payroll management.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of multi-state and Canadian payroll regulations.
- Managerial experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor.
- Advanced skills in Excel and a strong understanding of system integrations.
- Critical thinker who can proactively analyze data to drive informed decisions.
- Ability to work onsite one day per week in the office (local employees).

Key Responsibilities of the HRIS/Payroll Manager: HRIS Management:
- Administer and maintain HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) with a focus on data accuracy and system security.
- Oversee system upgrades, testing, and the rollout of new features.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users.
- Generate analytics and reports to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Payroll Administration:
- Supervise payroll processing for over 1,000 employees across multiple states and Canada, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage a Payroll Analyst and serve as a backup when necessary.
- Review payroll data for accuracy and collaborate with finance teams for payroll-related reporting.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Stay current with payroll laws across jurisdictions and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit required reports such as W-2s, 1099s, T4s, and tax filings.
- Support payroll audits and maintain accurate records.
System Integration & Process Improvement:
- Work with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth integration between HRIS and payroll systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in HRIS and payroll management.
