HSE Technician - Panduit Corporation : Job Details

We are excited to be opening our new distribution facility in Merrillville, IN using state of the art technology while minimizing our carbon footprint. Our 400,000 square foot facility will serve as one of our global shipping hubs responsible for meeting the demand of our customers internationally. The Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Technician will ensure a safe and compliant work environment by identifying and addressing unsafe conditions, behaviors, and environmental risks. Reporting to the HSE facility lead, they will monitor safety systems, input data into system, and identify opportunities for improvement. Key responsibilities include:Ensure regulatory compliance across employee behavior, equipment, tools, machinery, and processes, maintaining adherence to safety and environmental protocols. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure proper use of cranes, hoists, PPE, and maintenance of HSE equipment (eyewashes, ladders, first-aid kits, fire systems).
