SBM Offshore is a world leader in floating production solutions. Our main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation, and life extension of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels. We employ over 7,073 people spread across eight locations, nine operational shore bases, and the offshore fleet of vessels worldwide.

Through our local affiliate, Guyana Deep Water Operations Inc. (GDO), we are the Operator of the LIZA Destiny, LIZA Unity, and Prosperity Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessels (FPSOs).

We are looking for a HSSE Q&R Sustainability System Support to work onshore at our Georgetown shore base.

ROLE PURPOSE:

As HSSE, Q&R & Sustainability System Support, you ensure the efficient management and control of data, documentation, and systems related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE), Quality & Regulatory (Q&R), and Sustainability.

You provide technical expertise, ensuring the accuracy of management systems and assisting with continuous improvement efforts. Your contribution will help streamline operations, improve reporting, and ensure SBM's commitment to safety, Quality, Regulatory, and sustainability across its global operations.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • You ensure proper data and documentation management, maintaining control over documentation, administration of management systems, and the improvement of database systems.
  • You process, analyze data, and create dashboards to provide insights for stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting.
  • You support the maintenance and update the operating manuals and contribute in the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • You train and coach onshore and offshore personnel in the use of databases, related operational procedures, and management systems.
  • You manage and update the regional contents of the ‘GEMS View for Operations' portal and repository to ensure they remain current and accurate.
  • You assist in implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the HSSE & Q&R and Sustainability systems.
  • You collect, consolidate, and treat data for reporting purposes, including updating key registers like MDR, UDIR, and technical documents.
  • You support the application within the HSSE & Q&R and Sustainability policies, ensuring the right management of databases and contributing to safety and sustainability goals.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of Two (2) Years of professional experience in the development, deployment, and management of digital tools and databases, preferably in an operational environment.
  • Additional qualifications in HSSE, Quality Management, or Sustainability would be a plus.
  • Experience in Document Management Systems and data processing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Previous exposure to Quality Assurance, HSSE, and Sustainability processes is highly desirable.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good command of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (Microsoft Suite), Power BI, and Teams.
  • Fluency in English written and spoken (with the ability to communicate across teams required).
