Students will be required to exhibit the values held by Hardin-Simmonsand represent the institution well.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sell tickets to spectators at football gamesResponsible for counting correct change at football gamesHelping spectators find their seats at football gamesDistribute rosters to guests as they enter Shelton StadiumRequired to stand at entrance gates and ensure each guest has purchased a ticket during football gamesLock and unlock locker rooms for opposing teams during football gamesEnsure that only individuals for the opposing team enter Mabee Athletic Complex during football gamesUse provided mops to sweep the floor after certain plays at basketball gamesBe aware of what is happening on the court and ready to assist the referees with insuring the floor is playable at basketball gamesKeeping up with play during soccer games to be ready and provide players with balls at any moment.Running to get the ball that was kicked out of bounds and back to their sideline during soccer games.Be attentive to keep balls in play and provide a ball to the student-athletes competing during volleyball games.Provide customer service at all sporting events.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Current HSU StudentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to stand or sit for hours at a timeBe prepared to work in inclement weatherWORK ENVIRONMENT:All work hours will be outside during the spring semesterMust be prepared for inclement weatherEvening and weekend work is requiredNON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT:HSU complies with all applicable anti-discrimination laws including those prohibiting discrimination on the basis of age, sex, pregnancy, race, color, national origin, disability, genetic information and military service.
