We are here to assist you with questions and to help yousucceed in the important roles you will serve in our department.OrganicChemistry/General chemistryESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant:Dispose of and clean up lab materials correctlyAble to work with chemicalsMaintain and operate lab equipmentAttend and assist students during labKeep lab clean and organized Set up and tear down organic chemistry labs weeklyFor ChemistryPrep Assistant:Dispose of andclean up lab materials correctlyAble to work withchemicalsMaintain andoperate lab equipmentKeep lab clean andorganized Inventory all itemsfor replacement (gloves, soap, paper towels chemicals used in labs)Must obtain and setup all items for labs from professors before lab meeting time.
