Job Title: Hub Front Desk Work StudyLocation: Ellsworth Community CollegeDepartment: Academic SupportReports To: Director Of Student SuccessJob Classification: Student, non-exempt, hourly timesheetRate of Pay: $8.25/hourSummary: The purpose of this position is to ensure an orderly appearance of the facility, assist Hub staff with various work assignments, and assist patrons of the Hub. The length of employment is routinely the academic year ( fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed.Job Duties:* Greet students and ensure they sign in through tracking database* Ensure computers are on, have had appropriate updates, and report any issues* Ensure furniture, chairs, and equipment are in place at the beginning of each shift* Clean monitors, keyboards, desks, tables, counter area, and microwave as need* Ensure printer is stocked with paper; notify hub staff if toner needs replacing* Perform tasks including copying, collating, organizing, stapling, shredding, filing; checking mail, running errands across campus* Assist students with logging in and general computer usage as needed; other duties as assignedAbilities: Ability to work with others with a helpful attitude; strong technology skills and ability to communicate them to others; good organizational skills and ability to take direction; careful attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.
