Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity andproviding compassionate care. KDVA is looking for a mission driven, self- motivated and energetic Human Resource Administrator to work inour Bowling Green Veterans Center located in Warren County, who possesses the skills, knowledge, and desire toperform the following, but not limited to, duties:
- Provide guidance to multiple departments and supervisors regarding all aspects of HR processes andcompliance
- Develop and maintain multiple information systems and reporting requirements
- Oversee the Commonwealth's evaluation processes, reporting and deadline requirements for the facility
- Team engagement, including education and assistance with learning and utilizing HR resources andsystems
- Maintain records, both electronic and paper
Candidate must have successfully completed the Personnel Cabinet's Human Resources (HR) Academy.The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and will work independently yet be part of a larger team to meetour commitment to serve Kentucky's Veterans. EDUCATION:Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:Three years of professional experience in Kentucky state government merit system human resource administration or Kentucky governmental employee benefits administration.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:Administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):Must have successfully completed the Personnel Cabinet's Human Resources (HR) Academy. Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
