Job purposeShredfast, Inc.'s full-time Human Resources Generalist will be based out of our facility in Airway Heights, WA. This position will work under the supervision of company ownership. The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role for the company by providing employee life cycle organizational structure and accurate management of employee compensation. This position is responsible for talent management, compensation, employee benefits, training and development, compliance, workplace safety, data analysis and timely communication. Duties and responsibilities
- Update, when necessary, the employee handbook and clearly communicate to staff company policies & procedures.
- Carry out disciplinary actions as needed, including terminations.
- Recruitment & onboarding as well as exit interviews/off boarding
- Executing biweekly payroll in Paylocity, monitoring electronic timecards, PTO and leave requests.
- Oversee eligible bi-annual 401(k) enrollments, beneficiary forms, and work with the 3rd party plan administrator to maintain accurately the company's 401(k) plan.
- FMLA, PFMLA, L&I claims and reports, OSHA Forms (300, 300A, 301), COBRA, Garnishments
- Coordinating with department leads on safety protocols, coordinate the safety committee and coordinate safety training for staff.
- Implementing of specified employee progress reviews
- Assist health benefits broker with employee benefits annual renewal.
- Coordinate company events.

- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, experience operating Paylocity payroll software or equivalent payroll system.
- Minimum three years of experience within a Human Resource Department
