DescriptionThe HR Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle of recruiting/hiring for all positions, day-to-day benefits administration, and HRIS system configuration and support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Manage our full recruiting life-cycle for all open positions both internally and externally. Create, lead, implement and evaluate strategies to identify, attract and hire top quality talent. Build and maintain an on-going pipeline of qualified talent. Build and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers, stakeholders and staffing agencies. Advise and coach Hiring Managers and interviewers on hiring practices and candidate selection. Work with hiring managers and stakeholders to assess future and current staffing needs. Create and maintain job descriptions and updates. Implement and maintain applicant tracking system and employment information, including applicant and candidate files. Create all communications regarding recruiting, offer letters, promotion letters and pre-employment requirements. Assist in the review and testing of HRIS system and upgrades. Provide support for HRIS, including researching problems and performing scheduled activities. Responsible for HR analytics including a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train employees on processes and functionality. Work with benefits Third Party Administrators; coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration. Lead open enrollment; arrange for distribution and collection of materials, communicate changes to employees, arrange on-site presentation, and process changes within deadlines. Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations. Assist employees in filing claims, life insurance, flexible spending, disability, and other related deferred benefits. Prepare and maintain employee benefit files and database records. Coordinate daily processing for enrollments, terminations, qualifying events, COBRA, and beneficiaries. Assist on other human resources related projects. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and three years' experience in human resources, or equivalent education and/or experience. Human resources certification is a plus.
