Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator in Houston, Texas. The job function revolves around providing administrative support in the Human Resources department within the financial services industry. The role is primarily office-based and requires a high level of organization and detail-orientation. Responsibilities: Manage the process of applicant screening and prescreening to ensure compliance with company standards. Conduct regular auditing of HR processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity. Handle background checks for potential employees in line with company policy. Oversee calendar management for HR-related events and meetings. Facilitate job postings across various platforms to attract qualified candidates. Utilize Paylocity for processing payroll and other HR management functions. Perform data entry tasks related to employee records and HR processes. Manage compliance with HR policies and regulations within the organization. Coordinate timely responses to customer inquiries related to HR. Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications. Requirements Proficiency in using the 'About Time' software for effective time management and task scheduling Ability to conduct thorough auditing processes to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations Experience in conducting background checks to verify the information provided by job applicants Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to human resources and employment laws Expertise in applicant screening and prescreening to shortlist potential candidates for various job roles Excellent calendar management and calendaring skills to organize and schedule interviews, meetings, and other HR events Ability to create and manage job postings across various platforms to attract potential candidates Familiarity with 'Paylocity' software for efficient management of payroll and human resources information Strong data entry skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
