People Architects is thrilled to partner with our Stark County-based client, a fast-growing holding company that currently owns and operates digitally native brands

Position Overview:

We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Human Resource Administrator to support our growing team. This role is critical in managing the employee life cycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a welcoming and informative onboarding program for new hires.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on company policies.
  • Partner with managers to conduct performance reviews and implement talent development initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Assist with Payroll as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and secure employee leave records and ensure compliance with leave regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Advise management on HR compliance practices and maintain comprehensive employee documentation.
  • Conduct or oversee background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Proactively manage HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Qualifications (required and preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR generalist or related experience.
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required).
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a strong delivery rate.
  • Track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with a data-driven approach.
