International Conglomerate is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
General HR Support
Responsible for maintaining updated employee Personnel and Confidential Files. Maintain complete electronic employee personnel files, records, and other employee documentation.
Maintain Holiday Lists for SCA, Subs, and other countries on Eagle Intranet.
Responsible for generating monthly e-Learning Lists including monthly New Hire/Termination & Headcount for Accounting and IT Dept.
Process pre-employment background checks as necessary.
Process Employee Code Applications, Concur/Corporate Card Applications, and MDM Customer/Vendor Applications.
Respond to Employment and Income Verification requests
Register Employee Banking information in SAP.
Process Employee Anniversary Report.
Maintain employee job description records
Expatriate Staff
Process Company Loans and Security Deposit loans for expatriates
Assist in annual tax return process by requesting and depositing tax return payments, and processing Expatriate Due to /From payments.
Responsible for processing quarterly Expatriate & Dependent Visa, Passport, and I-94 Report.
Responsible for updating ADP Workforce now system with relevant data about our expatriate population and their dependents (visa expiry, I94, passport validity, etc)
Payroll & Benefits Support
Support employee Time and Attendance System administration
Maintain updated Kronos manual and quick reference guide.
Provide employee HR systems support such as user creation and assisting employees with HRIS use and troubleshooting as needed.
Process Manual Checks/ACH Payment.
Assist with for password resets for Payroll system and Time and Attendance systems as needed
Assist with Benefits Meetings, including Open Enrollment, committee meetings, information sessions, health fairs.
Support Open Enrollment and benefits administration pertaining to company
Support Affordable Care Act Reporting for company and all subsidiaries and affiliates in control group.
Support Equal Employment Opportunity Commission annual submission process
Support the administration of the 401(k) Plans for company.
Administer and ensure accurate and timely funding of 401K, HSA, FSA, and processing of associated intercompany transactions.
Process enrollments and terminations for COBRA through vendor partner
Accounting Administration/Support
Process general ledger entries related to payroll and benefits at regular frequency.
Administer Accounts Payable for the Human Resources and General Affairs departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
B.A./B.S. desirable but not required.
Minimum 3-5 years of administrative support experience.
Proficient in Japanese.
High proficiency with MS Excel is an absolute must
Basic knowledge of employee benefits is preferred
Proficiency in SAP, Concur, Microsoft Office products strongly preferred
