Position Overview:As a
Human Resources Associate, you will be a key HR support resource, helping to drive day-to-day HR operations across a designated region. This role requires someone who is collaborative, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality HR services in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the HR point of contact for an assigned region, spending 2-3 days a week in the field.
- Partner with District Managers to manage HR processes, including job changes, employee issues, performance management, and training & development.
- Provide guidance to club leadership on policies, benefits, performance issues, and employee relations matters.
- Assist with employee relations, including coaching, problem resolution, and corrective action guidance.
- Lead or assist with investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Review termination documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Partner with third-party vendors (OSV) to ensure timely payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Coordinate new hires and assist with onboarding through Workday, including headcount reviews, offers, background checks, and orientation.
- Assist club management with Workday issues related to HR, recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes.
- Work closely with District Managers and the Training Specialists to identify employee training and development needs.
- Collaborate with the Senior Workday Analyst & Sr. Analyst on Workday HR projects.
- Process unemployment claims for your assigned region.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties and tasks as required, which may evolve as the organization grows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Workday preferred.
- Previous experience in benefits/payroll administration is a plus.
- 1-2 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with excellent judgment and initiative.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
