WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a new Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will lead HR functions at multiple facilities in the accompanying geography. As a dynamic and innovative member of the HR organization, the HRBP will be tasked with providing world class strategic people solutions and guidance to the managers of WIN Waste's lines of business (LOB's). The HRBP will be a thought leader and provide strong strategic guidance and support to the team. The HRBP is responsible for fostering and building strong relationships with the facility teams, while being solutions oriented. The HRBP will be a change advocate in a fast paced, dynamic, and growing organization. The HRBP must be skilled at managing multi-site locations and skilled in executing diverse HR projects. Communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills are essential for success in the role.Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strong strategic guidance and HR support to management teams across multi-site and multi-state geography
- Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
- Execute business unit/functional-level strategies to improve organizational health and culture
- Lead the talent management strategy, including the talent calibration process, leadership development and training initiatives and facilitating training sessions
- Provide excellent employee relations support
- Serves as an advisor to management for employment related legal issues and ensures local compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws
- Manage annual HR events such as open enrollment, merit process, employee engagement survey, talent assessments, and annual performance review process
- Leads or manages HR projects and/or participates as a project member
- Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of human resources generalist experience
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or master's degree in related field preferred
- Possess HR and operational business acumen
- Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all core aspects of HR management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training; and employee engagement)
- Capable of thinking strategically and translating concepts into actionable items
- Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Innovative and creative mindset identifying new ways to solve work problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally present their point of view in business situations with diverse audiences
- Ability to understand business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
- Expertise in effectively managing and prioritizing multiple projects and working independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time
