Location: Onsite in BWXT Lynchburg, VA secure facility! This is an onsite role in our largest nuclear manufacturing facility based in Lynchburg, Virginia.

As BWXT continues to grow, this position will play a key role in driving forward HR transformation. Our transformation is enabling and achieving a shift to a more forward-thinking, fast-paced, operational approach. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading and influencing change at all levels of the organization.

As an HR Business Partner, you will:

Support the development and delivery of innovation within the HR function.

Develop and continuously improve effective HR programs that align with and achieve business objectives.

Lead with operational excellence and a continuous improvement mindset within the business and global HR function.

Serve as a trusted consultant to leadership, leading from the middle and influencing all levels of the organization.

Collaborate closely with managers to provide daily HR guidance, while understanding their business needs and delivering the business objectives.

Challenge organizational norms and affect significant change within the business and HR function.

Maintain an employee advocacy role while demonstrating strong change management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.

5 years of demonstrated strategic HR business partnership experience. A Masters degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Prior experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.

Demonstrated experience being a strategic HR professional with exposure to driving organizational change.

Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.

Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

Manufacturing or nuclear experience.

A Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence certification.
