Multi entity Manufacturer is searching for an H R Business Partner responsible for the human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as recruitment, selection, personnel policies, employee relations, employee onboarding, administration of benefit enrollment, COBRA notifications, and regulatory compliance.

Salary : $ 65,000- $ 78,000. + Bonus

Essential Functions:

  • Handle the recruitment and selection process to include updating job descriptions, social media platforms, interviewing and selection, and review of wage and salary information.
  • Plan and conduct new hire onboarding to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives and administrator required employee information.
  • Plan and provide direction for handling employee issues, including complaints, conflict resolution, suspension and termination.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotions and employee benefits.
  • Administer welfare benefits, OFCCP compliance, and all procedures and policies for all employees in conformity with appropriate Federal, State and Local laws including safety, affirmative action, civil rights and pay.
  • Maintain HR metrics and confidential employee records concerning personnel-related data such as hires, terminations, turnover, transfers, performance appraisals, and salary actions.
  • Review and update the employee handbook.
  • Investigate and resolve any matters involving alleged violation of anti-discrimination laws and sexual harassment laws.
  • Investigate and report all workers compensation injuries.
  • Keep current on all issues and legal matters in human resources field.
  • Maintain training database to remain current on training programs and certifications.
  • File and post annual regulatory reports.

Work Experience, Education, and Skills:

3- 8 years related human resources work experience.

A bachelors degree in human resources, organizational development, business or related area strongly preferred.

Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS), Microsoft applications (excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Teams), and social media recruitment platforms.

Knowledge of a broad range of human resources strategies, policies, and practices including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and engagement, performance management, workplace safety, compliance and regulatory policies and reporting (FMLA, ADA, ACA, OFCCP, EEO, workers compensation).

Ability to facilitate a positive workplace to include collaboration, teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.

Strong organizations skills and attention to details.

Timely follow-up and responsiveness to requests and inquiries from applicants, employees, and leadership.

Strong communication skills: Talking to others to convey information effectively. Giving full attention and listening to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Collaboration and Negotiation: Bringing others together to discuss different ideas to bring about the best options in the interest of achieving shared goals.
