About the Role - We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Human Resources Business Partner to support approximately 600 employees in the state of Indiana. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to management, providing expertise on HR policies, processes, and best practices. While anticipating HR-related needs, this person will act as an employee champion and active change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Key Functions -
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's business goals. Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.
Talent Management: Partner with managers to identify talent needs and develop strategies for recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent. Facilitate performance management processes, including active coaching, constructive feedback, and development planning. Partner with talent acquisition team to foster community relationships, attend job fairs, assist with job advertisement and effective communication about workforce changes.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of conflicts. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations and memorializes with concise reporting. Foster a positive work environment and culture by addressing employee concerns and promoting engagement initiatives.
Change Management: Support organizational change efforts by developing and implementing change management strategies. Assist with communication and training to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
HR Programs and Policies: Develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with legal requirements and company values. Monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making. Prepare and present reports on HR-related issues to management and other stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and manage risks related to HR practices. Conduct investigations and resolve issues related to compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Required Skills - Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees and management. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Work Environment - Work is conducted primarily from Caregiver, Inc.'s office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Schedule: Standard 1st Shift. Travel: ~50% to markets around the state of Indiana.
