Job DetailsJob LocationORL - Orlando, FLSalary Range$60,000.00 SalaryDescriptionGENERAL PURPOSEUnder the direction of the Human Resources Manager, this position provides human resources support to the organization. Primary responsibilities are the creation, development, follow-up, and update of all human resources policies, procedures, and SOP. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Worker's Compensation, FMLA, and Unemployment. This position is crucial for the continuous improvement of the human resources department, ensuring the company stays compliant with all HR practices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on the creation and updates of all internal HR-related processes and procedures.
  • Maintain both hard and digital copies of all processes, SOP, and compliance documents (FMLA, WC, UE, EHB, etc.)
  • Participate in HR department development meeting.
  • Work on creating flow charts and training for all HR procedures.
  • Coordinate FMLA, WC, and UE phone calls with HR Manager for audits and legal follow-ups
  • Coordinating training sessions and seminars to ensure the HR team stays up to date with all compliance.
  • Coordinate with HR Manager follow-up phone and proper documentation on FMLA, WC, and UE
  • Submit reports to HR Manager on FMLA, WC, UE cases updates and status.
  • Assist with coordinating any HR projects or initiatives.
  • Monitor that required compliance reports are completed timely, and that all records are maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate on the revision of HR policies included in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work in conjunction with the HR Manager to assure consistency in the administration of HR policies and procedures respective to their functional areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR procedures and create workflows as needed.
  • Participate in other special HR projects and other assignments as needed.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related (essential).
  • 2 years of experience as an HR coordinator (essential).
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
