HFY is seeking a dynamic HR Coordinator to handle key HR functions with a strong focus on benefits administration, compliance and employee relations. You'll play a vital role in coordinating supporting our employees, ensuring smooth onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, and administering benefits programs and overall employee engagement. HR Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and respond to employee inquiries related to employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave and other programs and perks.
- Maintain employee data, benefits, and compliance tracking with confidentiality.
- Assist in recruitment, scheduling interviews, and processing background checks especially for internal candidates being promoted or transferring.
- Support onboarding and orientation and offboarding including systems (existing, discovering and implementing).
- Assist with payroll review for compliance with HR policies, new hires, terms, leaves, transfers and other updates to employees' status changes.
- Process audit and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and agency policies.
- Engage in various committees such as DEI, Safety, Training and Events.
- Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agency and any other legal or regulatory obligations.
HR Coordinator Minimum Qualifications & Attributes: Each day in HR offers fresh experiences and challenges. - High School Diploma required (BA preferred) plus 2-3 years of hands-on HR experience with a track record that reflects growth, development, and increased responsibility.

- Excellent communication with problem-solving abilities.
