Job Description :

My client is searching for a HR Coordinator to join their team in the New York office.

This individual plays a key role in capturing and maintaining employee data across the entire employee lifecycle. Specifically, they facilitate the administrative portion of the onboarding process for new employees, process changes to employee profiles, work with HR Business Partners and People Strategy Consultants, manage contracts, process invoices, and partner with the People Analytics team to deliver reporting and analysis.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain employee HR data, including data entry and retrieval
  • Run and design audit processes
  • Propose solutions on how to improve HR Data
  • Manage employee electronic and paper files (e.g. new hire paperwork)
  • Process employee payroll files, including timesheets and benefit file uploads
  • Prepare employment verifications
  • Conduct onboarding process for incoming non-employees (i.e. contractors)
  • Prepare consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements and statements of work
  • Initiate and monitor background investigations
  • Facilitate resources first day
  • Monitor upcoming contract expirations and work with businesses to extend if needed
  • Process invoices from agencies that manage non-employees
  • Present HR updates and processes to businesses
  • Work heavily in Workday and Excel analyzing data

YOUR SKILLS & TALENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of HR experience working in a professional setting
  • Strong attention to detail and eye for discrepancies in data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work streams and prioritize on the fly
  • Flexibility to change focus when new needs arise
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive employee data
  • Ability to identify ways to improve existing processes
  • Mature and assertive
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Workday, Oracle HR (cloud) or other Human Resource Information System (HRIS) experience
