In this critical role, you will support the Human Resources department by managing administrative tasks and assisting with key HR processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day HR activities. As an HR Coordinator, you will play an integral part in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and compliance, while also serving as a key point of contact for routine employee inquiries. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team and grow your expertise in human resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Administrative Support
- Manage and maintain HR calendars, scheduling meetings, interviews, and departmental events.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and external correspondence.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital HR records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and manage departmental supplies and office organization to maintain an efficient workspace.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding Assistance
- Post job advertisements on internal and external platforms and track applications.
- Assist with coordinating interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials, collecting required documentation, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork.
- Assist in drafting offer letters and employment agreements under the direction of senior HR staff.
3. Employee Records and HRIS Management
- Maintain and update employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Conduct periodic audits of employee records and HR databases to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate basic HR reports and metrics to support team decision-making.
4. Policy and Compliance Support
- Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies, procedures, and compliance updates.
- Support the preparation of compliance-related reports and surveys under the supervision of HR leadership.
- Monitor adherence to employment laws and organizational policies, escalating issues as needed.
5. Benefits Coordination
- Support benefits enrollment by assisting employees with forms and providing information on available options.
- Assist during open enrollment periods by organizing materials and answering routine questions.
6. General HR Support
- Act as the first point of contact for basic HR-related inquiries, directing complex issues to the HR Generalist or HR leadership.
- Provide logistical support for HR events, training sessions, and engagement initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects to enhance departmental efficiency and employee experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the HR team.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- Full-time, 12-month position
- Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm, variable hours dependent on the needs of the department
- Some work during evenings and weekends may be required.
TRAVEL:
- Position requires little to no travel. Occasional local travel may be necessary for meetings or training, but it is not a regular aspect of the role.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, human resources) preferred.
- Previous experience in HR, office administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience using HRIS systems, preferred.
