Job Summary:
The HR Director oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. This leadership role is responsible for shaping the company's people strategy, ensuring a high-performing, inclusive workplace, and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The HR Director acts as a strategic partner to senior management while fostering employee engagement, compliance, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall business goals.
- Partner with the executive team to influence organizational design, workforce planning, and culture transformation.
- Identify and address talent acquisition and retention strategies to meet current and future business needs.
Talent Acquisition and Development
- Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the organization attracts top talent.
- Lead performance management programs, including goal-setting, appraisals, and succession planning.
- Design and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all HR practices and organizational policies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Develop competitive compensation structures and benefits packages.
- Regularly review and analyze market trends to ensure compensation remains competitive.
- Oversee payroll and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
HR Compliance and Policies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Update and enforce HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Manage risk by conducting regular audits of HR practices.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and develop the HR team to deliver outstanding service to the organization.
- Set departmental goals, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Act as a mentor and advisor to team members and other employees.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of leading HR teams and initiatives in dynamic environments.
Skills:
