Job Description :

Responsibilities:

  • Annually review and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters for executive management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and employment legislation to ensure full compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations regarding personnel matters.
  • Communicate updates in personnel policies and procedures, ensuring proper implementation and compliance.
  • Assist executive leadership with the annual review, preparation, and administration of wage and salary programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct exit interviews to understand reasons behind employee departures.
  • Consult with legal counsel on personnel matters when necessary.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department managers to support them in executing their responsibilities related to personnel management.
  • Recommend and participate in staff development initiatives.
  • Supervise the human resources team, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Participate in committees and special projects, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

This position will directly supervise human resources managers and representatives upon hiring.

Travel:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 7+ years of direct HR experience within manufacturing.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or similar HR certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, including executive leadership.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including expertise in databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Flexibility and innovation in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
