Human Resources Director - Skilled Healthcare Facility : Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic human resources director to join our healthcare facility!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all personnel files in compliance with the legal requirements, keeping them up to date with any changes
• Processes employee disciplinary actions
• Assist in the hiring process by prcoessing background checks, drug tests and checking references
• Responsible for new hire orientation
• Prepare payroll for processing
• Assist all employees with general questions regarding payroll, benefits, FMLA, workmans comp etc
• Close communication with the staffing coordinator for any changes in staffing needs as they occur

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of computer software
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Certifications such as SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) preferred
• 3+ years of human resources experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
