CSP has partnered with a local manufacturing and digital marketing company to identify an HR leader to lead their growing team.
The Director of HR drives organizational success by leading strategic HR initiatives, with a key focus on talent integration and cultural alignment during acquisitions. This role oversees HR operations, including payroll, compliance, benefits, and employee relations, while guiding the integration of new teams and processes post-acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Align HR strategies with growth objectives and acquisitions.
- Lead cultural integration efforts for newly acquired companies.
- Develop scalable HR initiatives to support long-term talent strategies.
- Mentor and develop the HR team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Continuously optimize HR processes and cross-departmental collaboration.
Operational Excellence
- Manage payroll systems, ensuring accurate processing and reporting.
- Oversee employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and compliance.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes.
- Provide coaching and counseling for managers on employee relations and performance.
- Drive training programs on compliance, skills development, and performance management.
- Ensure HR compliance with all legal requirements, maintaining accurate records.
Employee Engagement & Acquisition Integration
- Plan employee engagement initiatives, recognizing milestones and fostering a positive culture.
- Lead cultural assessments and integration strategies for new acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions in policies, benefits, and compensation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record in M&A and cultural alignment.
- HR certifications (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
- Strong HR expertise with the ability to lead change and cultivate a unified culture.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
